This house is located in a gated community in the town of Vinhedo, near São Paulo. It occupies a large lot located in a corner, enjoying beautiful panoramic views of an area of dense vegetation. One of the main guidelines of the project was the requirement that every room in the house could enjoy views towards this area, which resulted in an elongated volume that smoothly follows the sloping of the terrain.
A transversal volume located on the upper floor serves as a ´viewpoint lounge´, and may later be converted into additional rooms for the family, thus accommodating future expansions. On the side that faces the street, the privacy of the house is guarded by an array of wood panels that creates a transition space between the public sphere and the intimate family sphere.
